Significantly, the Group considers continuous education and training an important component of its journey of excellence, leveraging the former strategically to foster continuous growth at both personal and organizational levels.

LEADING FROM THE FRONT 

The Chairman Dr S.B. Jhawar is a renowned name in the field of medicine across Rajasthan, and has worked in various hospitals in the departments of Medicine, Geriatric and Psychiatry in England in the mid seventies. With grounding in Super Specialty Course of Ultrasound from the UK in 1982-1984, Dr Jhawar is also the first doctor to set up a Centre of Ultrasonography in Rajasthan. Voted ‘Young Entrepreneur Award 2015’, Dr Sachin Jhawar is a lighthouse of guidance and beacon of inspiration for the entire team at apex. His motto, “Be truthful to your patients by empathy, experience and expertise”, remains a guiding philosophy that cuts across rank and function, guiding the organization through thick and thin, and catapulting them continuously towards new horizons.  

GENESIS, JOURNEY & MILESTONES 

Apex Hospitals was conceived in the year 1986 as S. S. Diagnostic Center with Ultrasonography, and saw itself crossing several important check-posts over the course of the next few years. In 1994, it became a fully commissioned 50 bed hospital facility. It introduced Minimal Invasive Surgery in Rajasthan in 1997 and in 2000, became first hospital in Rajasthan to obtain ISO 9000:2008 Certification. Apex Hospitals amped up its technological strengths by inaugurating Telemedicine Linkup in 2002. In 2003, the institution was recognized with Smile Train (USA based outfit) to perform Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate Surgeries. The Department of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery was established in 2004. In 2006, an additional 50 Beds – along with the Department of Urology – was commissioned. In 2008, the hospital upgraded its CCU (Critical Care Unit) with 28 Beds in strict compliance with NABH Guidelines.  The Departments of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Suite were added to the service palette in 2009. In 2010, the hospital commissioned its Cath Lab & Cardiology Department. The Kidney Transplant Unit was born in 2011 and performed the first Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy in the state of Rajasthan. Blood Bank and CT scan Services began in 2011, while in 2012, another Hospital of the Group in Rajasthan received its NABH & NABL Accreditation. In 2013, Apex Hospitals commissioned its Second Facility at Mansarovar in Jaipur which was, at the time, the biggest residential society of Asia to be located in Jaipur. In 2014, the hospital organized Annual National Critical Care Conference (IMPACT), while the Audiology & Speech Therapy Department was inaugurated in 2014. At around the same time, the Hospital commissioned its Oncology Department with Asian Cancer Research Institute January. A state-of-the-art Dialysis Center came up in 2015. In the June of 2017, Apex Hospitals started Apex Comprehensive Cancer dedicated to cancer care. A radiation therapy facility equipped with best-in-class Art Elekta Synergy was plugged into the infrastructure in the March of 2018. In April 2019, Apex Hospitals raised funds from Somerset Indus Capital Partners to expand its footprint across the state of Rajasthan. The Group started its third Facility in Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur) as Apex Ranthambore Sevika Hospital on 1st December 2019. 

The E - ICU was established in the October of 2020 and already providing services to boost reach and access to remote spots. In the November of 2020, the Group set up Rajasthan's first Hybrid Cath Lab. 

Apex Skyline ( Jhunjhunu)  is the fourth facility that is to be launched shortly. 

A FRONT-RUNNING DESTINATION FOR MEDICAL TOURISM 

Apex Hospitals has remained a preferred address for International Patients, accommodating patients from a variety of countries and regions such as Africa, the Gulf and United Kingdom. The Group has a steadily growing international clout, and is the only hospital in Rajasthan to have participated in Indian Medical Tourism Destination 2015 organized by FICCI in Dubai and Muscat. “We provide a thoughtful and comprehensive suite of arrangements and solutions to medical tourists – be it pickup and drop from airport, hotel booking, tour of local tourist spots, culinary and food arrangements, interpreters or VISA assistance. We make sure our international guests and patrons feel right at home when they are with us, and don’t feel culturally alienated in any way. Apex will come up with a dedicated floor for international patients very soon”, said Dr Sachin Jhawar.

A SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE CORPORATE CITIZEN 

A heart that beats strongly for society lies at the core of the Apex ethos. As a responsible corporate, the Group organizes multiple CSR level activities and initiatives throughout the year, such as: 

1. Community Camps

Apex hospitals has been organizing regular community camps in rural and sub-urban areas of Rajasthan state. Nearly 10,000 people are treated every year – a tradition that has persisted for the 20 years across 70 community camps. 

2. The Help Indeed 

Apex Hospital sponsors and subsidizes expenses for the underprivileged through participation in the programs of various NGO's and similar organizations. 

3. Ongoing Medical Education

Apex Hospitals regularly conducts Trauma Courses, Basic Life Support Training, Cardiology MasterClasses, NCD camps and Talk shows to educate and empower citizens and communities on various aspects of wellbeing and health.  

4. Marathon and Cyclothon

Marathons organized by Apex Hospitals are legendary and are conducted regularly all over the state to spread the message of health prevention as well as build will power and self-awareness.
