Shyamakant Giri, Chief Executive Officer at Rivaara Labs, is a Healthcare professional with over 20 years of strategic and operating experience in devices, proprietary and branded generics pharmaceuticals, diagnostics & healthcare services in leading Indian and multinational organisation. 

He carries a proven ability to build disruptive new ventures and substantially improving performance of existing businesses. Mr Giri is known for a natural knack for developing leaders, identifying opportunities for value creation, and disciplined execution.

In his current role as CEO of Rivaara Labs, Mr Shyamakant Giri is chasing a dream to democratize Molecular Diagnostics and Point of Care Diagnostics in India – with a unique proposition and a motivated team.

“More often than not, we fail to act due to lack of confidence or courage. This hesitation keeps us from moving forward and puts us in a cage of wondering what might have been. Whenever you feel it’s time to act, take action. No matter the outcome, you will end up smarter than before.

This philosophy has literally driven my career so far. In last 20 years, I have had the opportunity of creating 3 companies & launching businesses in several  countries, and, at the same time, creating remarkable impact on the lives of patients that we served and the  teams that we worked with.”

“This Mantra is helping is chase our dream to redefine Molecular Diagnostics & Point of Care Diagnostics in India – touch as many patients lives as possible through clinicians across India enabling them to diagnose disease faster and better. Rivaara Labs aims to drive Awareness, Accessibility, and Affordability in a fragmented molecular diagnostics & POC market in India and become amongst the top 5 diagnostics company in India, in next 5 years.”
