13th December 2022: Paras Healthcare, an Indian healthcare services provider specializing in advanced tertiary medical care, has elevated Dr. Santy Sajan as their new Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO).
By joining the senior executive team, Dr. Santy earns the onus of establishing and delivering strategic long-term growth plans for the organization.
According to the leadership, the new appointment is an extension of Paras Healthcare’s rebooted expansion strategy. Post the pandemic, the Group is on its way to establish operations across various regions of India - particularly in underserved and unserved areas where the demand for quality and accessible healthcare remains unmet.
Speaking to the press, Dr. Dharminder Nagar (Managing Director, Paras Healthcare) marked the occasion by saying, “Dr. Santy's challenging journey to the top will allow others to develop themselves remarkably while inspiring the rest. In light of this, there is no way anyone could deny the necessity of having more women in leadership roles. She has deep industry knowledge and experience and brings an impressive track record of strategic planning and execution that has resulted in sustained operational excellence. As the Group COO, she will also work towards heralding the group's digital transformation, including initiatives in the areas of cloud, artificial intelligence and machine learning”.
