Dr Nitish Shetty appointed CEO of Aster DM Healthcare (India Business)

Dr Nitish Shetty has been appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of Aster DM Healthcare for its India business. In his new capacity, Dr Shetty will lead Aster DM Healthcare’s India growth journey while overseeing the company’s overall India operations.  

Dr Shetty’s promotion is in alignment with the Group’s grander vision of strengthening Aster DM Healthcare’s presence in the country. Dr Shetty’s association with the organization goes back to 2014, when he took over as CEO of Aster CMI Hospital in Bengaluru. He subsequently rose to Regional Director capacity for Aster Hospitals in Karnataka and Maharashtra, while parallelly assuming responsibility as the  Director for Aster Labs. Before his stint with Aster, Dr Shetty had been associated with a string of other reputed healthcare names in India such as BGS Global and Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Dr Shetty has specialised in strategic planning and management for over 23 years. Over the last eight years, he has been instrumental in commissioning and establishing a slew of prestigious projects including Aster CMI Hospital, Aster RV Hospital, Aster Whitefield Hospital and Aster clinics in Bangalore. In recently times, he has also taken charge of Aster Labs recently.
